In most cases, no, but it depends on what they are, and by how much you overdose. If you overdose on narcotics or sleep aids, for example, you don't throw up. You simply forget to breathe.

I have overdosed many times. But its not the correct way to get out of your problems.
Whenever I would overdose it depends on what I take on the symptoms afterwards. For example, I took 10 extra strength Excedrins once, and I puked and puked. I got light headed, and I couldnt think straight. I felt very weak, and my chest hurt real badly. Im lucky I didnt get my stomache pumped at the time. But at that stage in time I was very depressed, and wouldnt call the doctors because its what I wanted. But I obviously never died and am very thankful for that.

Why would you want to overdose on pills. That is not a good solution to life's problems.

in many cases...yes you do throw up...that's the body's way of protecting itself. but alot of people don't...it isn't uncommon for a true overdose to have seizures or become so sedated they don't know they are getting sick and aspirate (choke on) their own...well you get the picture....annette
