It is possible, but extremely unlikely that her bone marrow could contain cells from the donor if the blood was not irradiated. In theory, the blood stem cells could colonize the marrow. The donor's immune cells could attack her causing a condition called graft vs. host disease. This could cause some skin changes or alteration of features during growth. Nothing would cause her to resemble the donor.

A blood transfusion does not change a person's genetic makeup in the least. In fact, blood cells don't live very long. So while the transfused blood was in her circulatory system, her body was already busy making more of her own blood to replace the transfused cells as they wore out.
DNA tests are not always done on blood. On television you must have seen CSI or other shows that use forensic techniques. They collect DNA from people by swabbing the inside of the person's cheek to collect a few cheek cells.
So:
-- Her DNA is not different.
-- The transfused blood is temporary and her body will soon replace it with more of her own blood.
-- The transfused blood cannot affect her features, skin tone, or anything else.

Red blood cells do typically live for 120 days, however when people are given Blood Bank blood (transfused blood), it will only live for about half of that time. A blood transfusion will not affect her DNA after this period. The only thing that could happen with respect to changing your mom's biology is that she could have obtained a foreign blood cell antigen from the transfusion in which she formed an antibody (permanent) to and this could affect her if she ever needed a future transfusion.

Exchange blood transfusion can not give wrong parentage results. Firstly transfusion is mostly done with packed red blood cells. Red cells have no DNA. Transfused blood disappears totally from system and new blood components are formed from receipient`s bone marrow. DNA test is not done only with blood cells. Buccal mucosa,Hair and marrow cells can be studied for DNA identification
Skin etc don`t change with any number of transfusions.

Blood transfusion is only to replenish the lost blood either from injury or natural causes such as giving birth. Nothing to do with dna change or whatsoever. By the way the lifespan of the red blood cells is 120 days.

About the DNA test, yes it could be compromised by the transfusion, but only for about 2 weeks (if I recall correctly, the lifespan of red blood cells).
When it comes to the rest, it would have no effect what so ever on her appearance.

if she had a DNA test done it would say she is the child of her biological parents.
Blood cells are continually being destroyed and replaced in your body. Red blood cells have a very very short lifespan so they don't have a nucleous, which is where DNA information is stored. Plus, DNA is stored in every cell of your body, not just blood cells.
