ooo orthopedic surgery. That is exactly what I wanted to do. well... until I looked at how much schooling I had to go through, and thats alright and all, but when I saw how hard it is to get into a nursing program.... I realized that becoming a surgeon would be even more intense.

I study orthopedic, Neuro and cardothaurasic surgery and cardio so far is the hardest. orthopedic is pretty cool like callie on greys antomy

Yes. It's a long residency. They aren't as dumb as they frequently act. (sorry, orthopods - you know you have that reputation!)

They have to learn a lot of anatomy, and a many surgical skills.

Apparently, they learn so much about bones that they forget what the heart and lungs do, though. (sorry again - but I've SEEN orthopedic H&Ps!)
