What is the normal time surgeons spend per week on the job? And if possible, is there a website that lists the hours of different types of surgeons (as in which surgeons work the least hours ect.)

My dr found out recently after some blood work that my porassium is really low, so she prescribed me a 7 day dose of potassium w/chloride, i take them in the morning, im on my 3rd day now, and tonight is my friends birthday. And the pharmacist or my doctor didnt specify if drinking was bad or not. Either for my deficiency or my prescription. I dont want to get rip roaring drunk, just be able to have a few drinks. . .. what do you think? Is there anyone out there that has had a few drinks with low potassium or while taking these pills? Thanks

I've been to 3 different doctors. The first to sent me to a rheumatologist. I saw the rheumatologist. He says I'm fine but come back if I have a symptoms . But I don't know what symptoms to look for. I can't get a straight answer from anyone. I know i was positive for two antibody tests one the doctor didn't explain the other was a GI problem and me being B12 deficient but my other bloodwork says my B12 levels are fine. My cholesterol is a little high. I can't get anyone to give me a straight answer and its frustrating. I've been online looking for why someone could be sent to a rheumatologist and there's a variety of answers. Any advice or insight would be welcomed.

I am 24 year old female, been drinking quite heavely for nearly 4 years, it has gone from severel bottles of a wine per week to this last year a bottle every night. I have counted these past few months my average weekly alcohol intake is between 70 - 140 units per week. I hear that it takes at least a decade of heavy drinking for cirrhosis of the liver to occur. Do you think i have done any serious damage to myself already?

And does a blood test show that you have been smoking cigars, or does the doctor have to be using a specific test. I need this for a research paper so any links about this would be great.

My daughter was arrested for probation violation. Her lawyer told me she has a severely high nanogram levels and that she has a serious problem. My daughter (I believe her) told me she only did it 1 time. The lawyer says they found 900 nanograms in her blood and that was indicative of a long time user. I found on the interet that 1 nanogram was 1 billion less than a microgram or something like that. I don't understand all this science stuff, can anyone tell me if I really should believe my daughter or if she is a addict?
