Your urine can be tested for alcohol, regardless of the type of beverage involved, beer, wine or liquor. It remains detectable in the urine as long as alcohol is present in the body - as low as 0.01% BAC - which you almost get from inhaling the vapors of a bottle of booze!
Its length of detectability is determined by how much alcohol has been drunk. The average person metabolizes 0.015% alcohol per hour. A using the old standard of 0.1% (legally intoxicated in most US jurisdictions) it would take 6.7 hours for all the alcohol to be gone. This estimate varies slightly based on weight, body fat content, sex, etc., but is a good, general rule-of-thumb.
I hope this helps.

24 hours at least. Doesn't matter if you are "over the limit" or what a Breathalyzer says, it is still in your system. Drink A Lot of water or something with electrolytes and get some sleep. It's the only way!

its stays in your system until your system can process it (liver)...your body(liver) can on the average process 1 "beer"=1shot=1glass of wine per hour....you drik all 3 in 1 hour...it takes your body that long to process...so 12 beers in 12 hours equals 12 more hours to process

No, beer is out in 24 hours, I think they do a siliva test and it can tell if you drank in the past 36 hours or something like that.

Yes, alcohol can be detected in urine, however it's out of your system in 24hrs or less. (you;d have to be pretty drunk for it to stay in for 24hrs.)
