I'm just 26 and recently had a baby and it seems as if I can't remember anything anymore. I once had a photographic memory. This is since I had the baby.

I really need help.

Why isn't there a mechanism that determins when enough fat has been stored before it becomes unhealthy.

I mean, if I want to fill my gas tank more than capacity, the gas will squirt out of the tank. But the human body is like a gas tank which would grow the more as you put more gas.

It would be stupid to design a small car with a gas tank the size of a train. Nature should've predicted this.

From what I read, cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

How is this oxygenation different from oxidation, which I also remember reading is bad for us and causes us to get more and more cancer cells leading to cancer?

it is known that water evaporation and hence sweat evaporation decreases when humidity is increased, knowing that sweat evaporation is the only means of heat dissipation when the temperature of the surroundings exceeds that of the skin, the human body should sweat more profusely when put in a humid environment; so as to lose heat. i would imagine, for example, that a person would sweat say 3 times more in a humid weather than in a dry one; as the rate of evaporation in a humid weather is lower than that of a dry one. please provide me with proper references along with a convincing answer, i hope i hadn't asked for too much lol

Quick story. A doctor I know very well is the ER Physician, and i routinely go to ER do to STAT draws. One day he pulled me to the side and said " I know your going to be working here after you finish nursing school, and we could really nurse another guy nurse down here". About a week later another doc up where med/surg is told me basically the say thing regarding his floor. Im really torn about what direction i want to go with this. I have had more then a few docs and nurses tell me they need me down in ER because of all the crazy people they get in there, and most respect the men more then the women (i work at a inner city hospital). I have the chance to pick where ever I want basically due to the amount of openings there. Any ideas??? Thanks

Why do we as humans feel like we are so superior to every animal? we kill cows all the time and the only people who complain are vegetarians. so if people dont have a problem with killing a living creature, why do people care about killing an unborn embryo? If anything, a living cow should take precedence over the unborn embryo. We are animals as well, animals that are killing ourselves and our planet, but still animals. Dont start the religious thing saying were superior because there are plenty of rapists and murderers too. Stem cells are the future of science and cold help save many lives, and since there is a 16 cell organism growing without organs or form, it should not be killed for the betterment of society because it will eventually take the shape of a person?

what do you think?
