The reason I'm asking this question is because I just recently filled my prescription for this medication and it on the package that I saved $325.00. I only got 30 5 mg tablets. So, that means that the average price of one tablet cost around $10.75. I think that is crazy.

Ok this stereotype will die hard one day, but lets start with some history. Nursing first came into being in the USA by men ( mainly 16-22 year olds) and women really didn’t get into it until WW1 when all the men left to fight the war. Somewhere along the way some idiot apparently started assisting male nurses with gays. Now i don’t know where that idiotic idea originated from maybe someone can fill me in. A friend of mine who is a guy nurse working in the ER told me to were a fake wedding ring to work if I get tired of people asking if im gay all the time. ( he had to turn over 10 people in for harassment for spreading rumors about him being gay when he was not) I knew going into this that i would have to put up with crap from people thinking this way, but i dont care i love helping people, and this job fits very well for me. I just dont know how to deal with this constant question. any ideas.

President Bush vetoed a bill blocking government funding from stem cell research. Now researchers are stuck with charity and rich people donating. I understand the president's protest about embryonic stem cell research. But what about adult stem cell research. Do you think the he should have been more precise and said no government funding to embryonic stem cell research? Adult stem cells are a lot less potent than embryonic ones but other than that I don't see a problem. They're taken from an adult's bone marrow.

I am a musician and I have absolute pitch. I can recognize any note with no reference tone. I can recognize any "tonal" or extended chord (ex. V13, ii13, etc). When the chord is "atonal", I usually can only recognize the root and the top note - I have trouble recognizing the inner notes in "atonal" chords when listening. Also, I do not know how to "measure" the distance between notes (such as: "That C# is 40 cents flat".) I would know that it is a C# that is flat, but would not be able to name the amount. Please offer suggestions that would help me to improve my absolute pitch.

My wife has been experiencing steadily increasing right-sided back pain (where the ribs start), which curves around to her abdomen, since February. She had her gallbladder removed 8 years ago, and it's perhaps where the bile duct was clipped.
We are now on a lidocaine patch, 50mcg Duragesic patches q72H, and approx. 4.5 percocet 5's a day.
When this all began in Feb/March, we went to the ER a couple of times and had a few short stays where all labs and scans returned normal... Of course, she was treated like the "drug seeker" and sent on her way with "There's nothing else we can do." For a while, getting adequate pain coverage was a challenge.

She is scheduled to see a pain specialist next week, and we may do a neurologist after; the universal consensus from those MD's who at least tried (and we've seen several) was that she has an idiopathic neuralgia associated with one of the ribs.
Her pain continues to worsen, and we're running out of ideas.
Any thoughts?

My daughter, at 27, had my only grandchild, born with Down Syndrome. No forewarning at all. No genetic history in the family. Could her eating disorder have contributed to this? Just desperately trying to figure out how this occurs for no apparent reason.
