Usually it means you aren't getting enough water. You may be drinking something else, but you still need a certain amount of water. In warm weather you need even more water. If you have a beer or something you need about 3 times as much water as beer. If you have a coke or coffee, you need twice as much water as caffeine. If you move around in the heat alot, you need to drink a glass of water both before you go out and after you come back. By the time you are thirsty you are already becoming dehydrated. Also, you could have an infection or contagion (STD, etc.) that could make it burn. If you are sexually active you need to go to the doctor.

If the symptoms are just burning during urination, more than likely you have a Urinary Tract Infection. (UTI) There is over the counter medication that could ease the symptoms until you can go to the doctors. It's called AZO. The name of the drug in this is called peridium, it discolors your urine to the color of orange. It is an analgesic (pain reliever) which can help the burning pain until you can get diagnosed by a doctor. I would suggest drinking cranberry juice and a lot of water also.

Sometimes, it is due to a bladder or kidney infection, so you need to see a physician and let him diagnose that; preferably a Urologist or if not that your family doctor. If you put off doing it, you could damage your kidneys or urinary tract and then it could spread to other parts of your body.

You probably have an infection of some sort. Could be just a urinary tract infection, could be an STD. You should get that checked out.

I think u have an STD...go to your doctor and get checked up. If u don't want your doctor to know, then go to a clinic and get tested. And make sure u don't sleep with any one till u get it treated (for ur own good) - good luck
