Hi

I am a home hobbyist.

I was wondering if someone could design a pcb board to be designed for the schematic found at this page http://www.headwize.com/projects/noise_prj.htm

I look forward to hearing from you.

I built it with 3 cards ( the ones used to play go fish ) and 2 pieces of aluminium. They are in this order card, foil, card, foil, and card. They are sandwitched together and the foil isn't glued it's taped with duct tape.I connected a wire to each piece of foil and then to a battery.Left it there for 2 min. and took the battery off .WITHOUT TOUCHING the wires.THEN....I tuched the wires without the bat. and didn't feel anything. What's wrong? At this point anything will help :-(--)---(

I know basically how they work...what I don't know is why their life is limited. Typically they are rated for X number of flashes. So what fails/wears out? Does the electrode material contaminate the gas or something else? Thanks.

The more general question is: do devices that say on the back or on their power adapter that they take voltages up to 240 really do so(another example would be my iBook G4, whose power brick says 100-240V), or will they just blow up when using the higher voltage overseas?

It's a Fluke 77 meter. I've notice when its set to ohms and something with a voltage is measured, it spits out a negative reading, usually around -3 megohms. However, I was measuring a some FETs on a board that was unpowered to make sure there were no shorts, and I was getting a negative resistance reading. Why? Is there some current flow from a cap discharge causing the false reading?

I bought a small keychain laser at the dollar store. With the purpose of putting it to these welding googles (I play in an industrial band). I have seen it before and it looks cool having it comming out an eye into the fog (from a fog machine)
Ok, so my problem was, I took it apart, the laser mechanism from the small cilinder, exposing what seems to be a circuit. Now I add the batteries but it won't work, I am not sure if the batteries died (they were already low the day I took it apart), or more important, is the little enclosing cylinder neccessary for the laser to work?
(Once I dispossed of the cylinder, everything else was on one piece, nothing missing.)
Another question, do you know if there is a risk of radiation direct to my eye, even tho the laser would not be directed towards it, but would be right on front of.?
