Compute the voltage drop along a 26-m length of household no. 14 copper wire (used in 15-A circuits). The wire has diameter 1.628mm and carries a 12-A current.

Please show work, so I can understand how to solve similar problems.

Find the Volume of the solid described. Give exact answers as reduced fractions in terms of pi.

1. The base is a circle with radius a. Find the volume if cross sections perpendicular are squares.

2. The base is the region enclosed by a circle of radius 7cm: find the volume if cross sections perpendicular to a fixed diameter are equilateral triangles.

3. Base is region bounded by y=1/x, y=0, x=1, x=4 and cross sections perpendicular to the x-axis are isosceles right triangles with hypotenuse in the xy-plane.

4. The base of a solid is bounded by x=y^2 and x=4. Find the volume if cross sections are:
a) perp. to -axis and are isosceles triangles with base in xy-plane and height is 1/2 of base.
b) perp. to x-axis and are ososceles right triangles with one =~ side in the xy-plane.
c) perp. to y-axis and are squares with one side in the xy-plane.
d) perp. to y-axis and are semicircles with diameter on xy-plane.

please please help me...i am pleading. you have no idea. help... :(

how much energy will be consumed in doing that.
Also if I want to compress Hydrogen (without liquification) what will be the enegy required ( from 22.4 ltrs at N.T.P. to 20 atm pressure.
2. How much thick Steel cylinder is required sustain this much pressure ( 20 atm) What will be the weight of steel cylinder which can contain 22.4 ltrs of original oxygen compressed to 20 atm.
3.

* in a simple copy machine, a stpo signal, S, is to be generated to stop the machie operation and turn on an indicator light whenever either of the following conditions exists:
1.there is no paper in the paper try
2.two switches in the paper path are activated, indicating a paper jam
* the presence of paper in the tray is indicated by a HIGH at logic signal P
* each switch produces a logic signal(Q and R) that go HIGH whenever paper is passing over the switch to activate it.

* design the logic circuit to produce a HIGH at output signal S for the stated conditions: simplify the expression and implement the circuit in gates.
