i thought current killed not voltage
(and as it seemed stun guns don't have any current at all)

BOTH, amperage and voltage actually will kill. Amperage creates heat which damages tissue. Voltage disrupts the natural electrochemical processes, especially of the heart and the control centers of the brain.
The dry skin is resistant to voltages up to around 17 volts. Higher voltages are dangerous.
A person with a pacemaker would be at risk near any higher voltage device be it microwave oven or stun gun.
The use of defibulation devices shows that voltage will either activate of interrupt the electrical circuity of the heart.

Neither, actually. It's amperage that kills. If a stun gun is rated over 40 amps, it could cause a fatal heart attack by "short circuiting" the heart's natural rhythm.
