I was watching a video in class about the Ancient Mayan civilization and they said the world will end DON'T READ ON IF YOU GET FREAKED OUT EASILY......... the world will end on December 23, 2012 around 11 p.m. Then I heard people saying it was a solaor eclispe. I don't get it? Is it the solar eclispe or what becuz we had solar eclispes before and we are still living so help me out please!

Because if you take all the air out of any object, it turns to a small mass, or just it's shell?
...And there is still gravity here on earth..?

Do you think it would be possible for there to be more than one specie of equally or near equally intelligient beings living together on the same planet, or would survival of the fittest rule out that possibility? The surface of the moon changes very slowly because of the lack of any wind or water erosion. If aliens ever visited the earth and moon, surely there would be some debris or garbage leftover from their trip. To me this would be the main reason for us to return to the moon, to search a large percentage of the moon's surface in search of alien artifacts.

I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The shooting star lasted about 3 seconds before it exploded in the sky giving off a pretty bright flash. It actually scared me there for a second considering how big it was.

Today was a very sunny day in NYC and as I was driving I saw the moon clear in the sky, so I wonder is the moon there all the time, but we don't see it because of clouds? and if so, is it making the sky more bright? Or is it just the Sun?

Of course, if extraterrestrials suddenly landed in the center of London or New York, their existence would be more than obvious. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening ever. So, what are ways you can think of that would allow humans here on Earth to prove that extraterrestrials exist, since the ETs won't land here and prove it themselves? On the contrary, how could humans ever prove that extraterrestrials don't exist when we live in such a vast and endless universe with so many stars and planets? anyway, i asked a question last night about the orbs in the sky that me and my husband saw last night. we saw them here in colorado springs. we saw them at about.. 10:30 last night towards southwest. the weird thing about themis that, because it was partly cloudy at the time, the orbs would somewhat circle around pretty fast but not in the same circle. and another thng that really gets me is that you can only see the dim light when it s behind the clouds, when it comes out of the clouds its as if it turns invisible and you cant see it until it goes behind the clouds again. there was one swirling around by itself more towards the west (by the mountains) and then 2 other ones swirling around towards the south. what do you all think of this? please, only serious answers.

my husband says theyre angels, cuz he dont believe in the whole ufo/alien stuff lol. what do you think? and were there anyone else that saw them?
