They develop and test fly super secret aircraft, well used to as that operation has moved to an even more remote location. No, there are not aliens frozen or flying saucers being reversed engineered.

A very limited few know all of what is or has gone on out there. A slightly larger group know various parts of what has or still is going on out there. But for those of you who think that nothing at all is presently going on out there, I suggest you try driving down mailbox road all the way to the front gate of that first facility and see how that goes for you. I can pretty much promise you at very least a highly unpleasant experience on your first attempt that will guarantee a second attempt not be made. If you doubt me then put your money where your mouth is and take a day or week off work depending on where you live in the good ol' U.S.A. and give it a try. That's the only way you are ever going to be able to do anything other than speculate and you will certainly have a story to tell from it. By the way, stop on over at the Little Ale'Inn and have yourself something good to eat before you head on down that road because depending on how much you stir up the bees nest, you might not get a chance to eat for a while.

Sonja, please take your silly opinion-poll question to the Entertainment section. You're the only thing curious around here.
There's plenty of fact available about what the "Skunk Works" in Area 51 was doing, and about fifty times that amount of pure, unadulterated bullspit about "little green men" and government cover-up of aliens.
And you're so behind the times. Area 51 black ops has been moved to five separate locations in Utah several years ago. Security is still in place because there are still some unfinished projects. I wouldn't be surprised if the government isn't playing a "shell game" with nut-jobs that still believe in aliens there.
But, go ahead and follow "YouTube" and all the other hoaxsters. Be a fool. It's a free country.

For the Area's debate..military installations are all secrets and they keep you guessing. They are all in costumes and drink tea all day playing cards telling everyone the 'end is nigh' - its probably the hard water..but I'm not sure. Area 51 is possibly the biggest installation with underground facility looking into the aspects of inter-planetary communications. If there is anything behind the closed doors - nobody is telling. People sometimes forget military is military, civilian is civilian..they don't talk to each other not as human to human are wanting to. Area 51 is supposed to be a secret..but be honest you can't miss it, darn big on the grid! If Aliens are there - they aint accepting mail, I keep getting mine back stating 'return to sender' on them with 'no such address'!

Do you work there, Dave? Have you been in Area 51? You sound so sure about this... and I'm not sure anyone can be truly certain about what is in Area 51.

I understand that Area 51 has been moved to another undisclosed location. Too many people were watching the first one.

They do top secret military R & D. What I'm most curious about is the ridiculous intrusion of UFO nuts and what effect it may have had on the security of these government programs. I wonder if these weirdos have actually forced the government to move some of their programs to other locations in order to get them away from all the media attention. And I wonder how many billions of dollars it probably cost the American taxpayers to get away from those nuts and their reckless and incessant probing for something that doesn't exist, anyway..

Nothing nowadays. It used to be a facility to test new top secret military aircraft, but now it gets so much attention from the media and assorted crackpots it's no longer used for that.
