It is a Telescience Telescope 30/60. At first I couldn't adjust my eyes to it but then finally when I was able to look through I saw things upside down and backwards. when I took the lense off it was the same thing. When I looked through the diagonal mirror it was the same thing. I have a faint recollection that this happened when I was in school but I don't remember how to resolve and the directions and looking online doesn't say anything about it - any suggestions?!!!

After answering an emphatic 'no' to so many "were the moon landings faked" questions, I've got a question for the community here.

It occurred to me that the signals coming from the moon could be picked up by anyone with the right equipment, and I'm sure some enthusiasts out there set up their own receivers to listen to the broadcasts from the moon themselves.

Did anyone here do that?

I think this is a MUST HAVE for any kind of truly long term attempt we make at space travel because the loss of bone density and muscle mass, plus the weakening of the circulatory system after being in space for only 2 years would more than likely be more than a human could endure AND expect to be able to return to a nomal gravity enviornment once we reached our destination. So I'd love to hear some ideas on ways to reproduce gravity, OTHER THAN attaching a ratating section to the vessel. Thanks!

What's the very bright star (or whatever) is seen on the western sky at Kolkata around 7-7.30pm nowadays? It vanishes sometimes after 8/8.30pm. Can't say exact time bcoz the sky is often cloudy, and rains.

Besides through thermal radiation, how do planets lose their heat?
From what i generally understand, an object gets cooler by getting another object hotter. But if a planet is surrounded by space(which is obviously nothing), then how does it cool down?
