Is it true that a manned mission to the planet Mars is being planned in/around the year 2016? If so, what about our moon? I mean I remember hearing scuttlebutt about a "moon base" but that seems to have fizzled. If mankind can't even build a base on the moon, who in their right mind would take the time out of their lives to travel to the planet Mars, & for what reason? We've already photo mapped the planet & it's appearent that there is nothing of intrest let alone value on Mars for mankind. Sound like another government scheme for $$$$ in some peoples pockets to me. Whats your take on this as this would have to be a SPENDY project?

Concidering the enormous cost, failure to live up to it's promises, loss of two vehicles and 14 lives, do you think the Space Shuttle will go down in history as a success given that there have been over 125 flights so far, as compared to the 21 Apollo manned flights or will it always be remembered for the two accidents?

Does it travel above the equator, or is its trajectory tilted? How long does it take to complete one circle? What does the 28 day moon period refer to?

How does light travel away from a star near the outer reaches of the cosmos? Does the light curve through space-time curvature, but if so then where does it go? Or is there dark matter beyond the most distant stars? I believe that matter curves in space and time but I don't think that space itself has physical properties. Thank you for your attempts to help in this matter.

I have some questions

What do they mix with Liquid Hydrogen and Liquid Oxygen because the shuttle will explode if those liquid are pure.

how many percent liquid hydrogen and oxgen are in the external fuel tank, solid rocket boosters and the space shuttle.

How many percent of the substance do they mix with the substance.

I want to know these for my school project because i have to make a small space shuttle and fly it and it should go at least 1 km in the air.

There has been alot of debate. As it is, it seems that there are only two theories, God made the world or the world made itself. Is it resonable to asume that the universe could be produced from nothing? For if there were any substance for it to be made from, one would have to explain the existance of that substance. I have also heard of some theries that claim aliens made the earth. Where did they come from?
