e.g. If 31hours 36 minutes is 31.60 expressed as a decimal (is that right?!), then what is 24hours 24minutes as a decimal? And what is 4hours 52minutes? A simple sum so I can work it out would be great!!

Want to reduce the number of accounts and service charges that come with them.
There is currently a 30amp, a 100amp and two 400amp services for the building but we don't need that kind of capacity. We are using an average of 34,000kWh per month or a maximum of 48,000kWh. Any clues?

So the question goes like this:
A TV camera at ground level is filming the liftoff of a space shuttle that is rising vertically according to the position eqn: s(t)=50t^2, where s is measured in feet and t is measured in seconds. The camera is 2000 feet from the launch pad.

Find the velocity of the space shuttle when it is 5000ft high.
[[I did this already, and I got 1000 ft/s. I know that it is right.]]

Find the rate of change in the angle of elevation of the camera when the space shuttle is 5000 ft. high.
[[I can't figure this one out for the life of me. I think it has something to do with inverse tangent, and with the previous anwser (1000 ft/sec).]]

If you can solve this, you're my hero and a freaking genius!!

If you are visual, there are three right triangles, each with at least one variable. I'm supposed to find those variables.

I will start at the BOTTOM LEFT CORNER where the right triangle is, move up (giving the length of that line), then down the hypotenuse (giving the length), and across the bottom line, doing the same thing.

The angle given is between the hypotenuse and adjacent line (although the third triangle has no angle)

Please help!

It has to be between earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. And you can't say that they all have there strengths. You have to choose just one; and give an explanation to your answer.

I believe its fire- I think its utter destruction.

You can determine angles of a triangle if the ratios of the sides are given, such as in the format of A : B : C. right?

A*180/(A+B+C), B*180/(A+B+C), C*180/(A+B+C)

So let's say I've got a right triangle with the side lengths of 3, 4 and 5. I guess I have to convert these lengths to ratios. This is where I'm confused. Do I use side length 3 as the reference ratio to the other sides? Meaning 3/3, 4/3, and 5/3? But those don't work when I try to multiply the ratios back into angles because none of them equal to 90, which I know exists because its a right triangle.

Currently i am stuck with a secreterial job ($12/hour ) for the payment for my car and insurance and my 2 credit cards which are in collections . My plan is to use the first few pay checks to start to payy off my credit cards ( clear up my credit soon )

and then pay off my car and insurance amounts. I graduated with a degree in electrical and computer engineering . I am planning to save up enough money so that in 1-2 months I will have enough money saved up and then I will apply for entry level electrical engineering jobs . I think I might have to quit my current job to start going for interviews because if not there will be tension between the employer and me I think .

Also I am working another part-time job just to make ends meet.

I am thinking once i get a job as an entry level electrical engineer , anywhere near by , I can use the saved up money to move to the new place and start my life there.
What do you think ?

4w^2 + 8w = 220

4w^2 –16w = 220

4w^2 + 24w = 220
