i came up with several reasons such as no controversy, companies might loose money, requires energy, and the people have the right to know what they are eating and how it was made

elemental fluorine F2, was not used in the halogens experiment because of difficulties in handling it. Also elemental astatine At2, was not used because of its radioactivity and short half life. How would you expect the reactivity of F2, and At2 to compare with those of the elemental halogens tested in the experiment.

I've understood every other question on this lab, but somehow this question has trumped me. :(

You visit a planet that turns on its axis once every 24 hours. The radius of the planet at its equator is 5.72×106 meters.
You would feel weightless at the equator on this planet, if it rotated fast enough so that the centripetal acceleration at the planet's surface was equal to the acceleration due to gravity (which in this case is 12.5 m/s2). Calculate the new rotational period for this planet necessary to produce this effect! Calculate the period in hours.

(I tried using the equation a=((2*pi*r*f)^2)/r but I get the wrong answer every time.)

I had a final in calc BCAP today and it was terrible. I keep running over the problems in my head.

Okay, it was something like "get the area between y=3x and y=(x^3)- (2x^2)"

I set 3x equal to [(x^3)- (2x^2)] I ended up with x=-1, x=0 and x=3. Then I was confused, thinking I'm only supposed to get two numbers. So I just used -1 for the lower limit and 3 for the upper. So it was (bear with me, no idea how to type this) a definite intergral with -1 and 3 as the limits and [(x^3)- (2x^2)-3x) dx.

thus, plugging the upper and lower limits in: (27-18-9)- (-1-2-3)= 6

A 0.10 kg piece of copper at an initial temperature of 95°C is dropped into 0.20 kg of water contained in a 0.28 kg aluminum calorimeter. The water and calorimeter are initially at 15°C.
What is the final temperature of the system when it reaches equilibrium?

Thanks everyone!

2.) If two carts have the same mass, how would you expect their velocities to compare with each other ? Why?
