It is very possible. If we were to travel to another planet and the people were primitives and saw us come from the sky in flaming chariots, they would believe us to be gods wouldn't they?

In the sense that alien is usually used when discussing paranormal phenomena God does qualify as an alien.
An alien is an extraterrestrial (not of Earth) and I know of no religion that claims that God is an Earthling since God is said to have created all of the universe and somehow be outside or above physical existence. So in the sense that God is not of Earth origin God is an Alien.

Yes I think there is good reason to conclude that the being referred to as God in the Old Testament could have been some alien. As there seems to be no reference to "God" being a being on earth in later parts of the Bible, nor in any historical analysis durimng subsequent yearsa?
He was seen on "the burning bush", indicating He may have landed in some space craft. He divided the Red Sea so that the Children of Israel escaped but the Egyptian troops were all drowned. Such a capability could well be that of aliens of superior intelligence and advanced technology in advance of that on earth at the time of Moses and indeed in advance of mankind in the 21st Century today so far?

Yes, God is an alien - he abducted Mary and fertilised her with his funky alien offspring, Jesus. Visitations from "angels" to Joseph etc. were actually alien visitations and the "star" that the wise men followed was an early flying saucer sighting.
Using powerful alien technology, Jesus appeared to perform "miracles". He was crucified and beamed up back to space by his dad where he lives to this day, one day to return. It all fits alien-damn it!!!!

bourbon....WELCOME TO THE "OUTER LIMITS"!!! I see this is your first day and (I think) your first question. I guess it's all in what you consider an alien. I've heard if you belong to God that you are an "alien" in this world...not of this world. Anyway...I'm giving you a "star" because I think this is a good question. If you're wondering if Jesus was taken up in a space craft...I wonder that too sometimes.

I don't think god "was an alien", but I believe they have something in common.
Why are so many people capitalizing the the letter "a" in the middle of a sentence?
