elemental fluorine F2, was not used in the halogens experiment because of difficulties in handling it. Also elemental astatine At2, was not used because of its radioactivity and short half life. How would you expect the reactivity of F2, and At2 to compare with those of the elemental halogens tested in the experiment.

I've understood every other question on this lab, but somehow this question has trumped me. :(

we never actually did this part of the experiment...Our fume hood broke...

Which way did reactivity go when you went from chlorine to bromine to iodine? Just carry on at either end in the same direction.
