The Earth's magnetic field reverses from time to time. This is well understood by everybody but conspiracy theorists.
What it might have to do with global warming is beyond me.

Yes, it does so routinely. Global warming seems to have more to do with Solar cycles, than pole shift. Although, a surge in solar energy can cause the poles to re-align, so this may impact climate.
No, I don't believe that this is the Earth's way of healing itself. I think global warming is more akin to an equal and opposite reaction. The past meltings and coolings of Ice Fields and Glaciers say that this has happend many times. Always in sync with the solar cycle.

yes it will change its polarity but there will be no catastrophic events because of it, maybe more volanic activity and sismic avtivity, I do not believe it will have anything to do with global warming, The earth in the past has been thru many changes, including the ice age and that may very well happen again or just the opposite could happen but for the most part its all normal stuff

The earth magnetism is changing all the time and that is why the magnetic declination annotation on charts is followed by the yearly variation. We know e.g. that in the time of Columbus the westerly declination across the Atlantic was less than today and we know that thousands and millions of years ago, the magnetic poles were entirely in different places than today because iron containing volcanic rocks have crystallized in different directions.
But all that has to do with the magma at the center of the earth and nothing to do with the global warming or anything else on the surface of the earth.

Yes.
No. It has nothing to do with global warming.
The earth will eventually heal itself. By doing so it will get rid of humans. But I doubt that is what you really want for a solution.

Yes. No. It changes on it's own. It's happened before we were here. It will hapen after we are gone.
