Want to reduce the number of accounts and service charges that come with them.
There is currently a 30amp, a 100amp and two 400amp services for the building but we don't need that kind of capacity. We are using an average of 34,000kWh per month or a maximum of 48,000kWh. Any clues?

WATTS / VOLTS = AMPS
48000 / 240 = 200
-----------------------------
so say 1 panel - 400 AMP
(single phase)

for 3 phase wye - wye about the same

If you have 2 x 400 Amp service, 10 to 1 using a three phase somewhere in this building. Keep the Voltage of the 400 Amp Services, and if you need to, step down the voltage to other sources using a transformer.

You are talking extensive electrical work though. Depending on the situation, it might not even be possible to combine all the services due to restrictions set forth by the Power Utility. More information about your setup is required and an Engineering Analysis wouldnt be a bad idea.

Services must be sized for Maximum draw instead
of average. In some applications demand load can
swing pretty widely.
You need to calculate the size per your local code.
(A WAG puts your new combined service between
600 and 800A.)

Call a "licensed electrician," and have it hooked up to "code."
