An atom is a mere millionth-trillionth-trillionth of a cubic meter in volume (0.000000000000000000000000000001 cubic meter). The solar system is a thousand-trillion-trillion cubic meters in volume (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000).How many atoms could fit, tightly packed, into an object the size of the solar system?

Ok, so I'm ion that part of our life when we gotta choose our future. So, I'm here to find out a little bit more about one of my biggest options (actually the biggest): Physics.
Although I love the subject on its own, - specially all the waves, colours, sound, etc. - I have no idea on what is to be a physicist.
I wanted to find out:
-What kind of jobs there are available after you graduate
-When do I've to choose (If I do) my sub-physic
-How is the carreer itself.

I'd really apriciate any kind of information you can give me, so please don't be shy, and if you know something, post it.

Thanks a million to everyone that can help me :) .

At elevated temperatures, sodium chlorate decomposes to produce sodium chloride and oxygen gas. A 0.8965 g sample of impure sodium chlorate was heated until the production of oxygen gas ceased. The oxygen gas collected over water occupied 57.2 mL at a temperature of 22°C and a pressure of 738 torr. Calculate the mass percent of NaClO3 in the original sample. (At 22°C the vapor pressure of water is 19.8 torr.)
_____________ %

How would I do this?? I don't know where to start?

The coefficients of static and kinetic friction between a 559 crate and the warehouse floor are 0.665 and 0.420, respectively. A worker gradually increases his horizontal push against this crate until it just begins to move and from then on maintains that same maximum push.

What is the acceleration of the crate after it has begun to move?

Please show steps on how to work.

We did a "group" activity on a field trip I went on recently, and my Chem teacher is having me write a paper on it for that days credit. We had pipes that were cut longways and were rolling the golf ball down those. What would be a good topic (as in a science related topic) to write about useing this experence?

Sorry there is no photo.

Its a small (about the size of a pencil eraser) red spider with long segmented legs. It's red all over excepting for what appears to be some black banding around its abdomen part.

What is it...and is it poisonous? It startles me every morning, appearing near the sink.

Creat the same effect thats naturally happening on Earth on Mars.
Could this be posible and not just science fiction?
It's a vision I had and was wondering if it's a posible solution to colonizing Mars in the future.
Making sure, of course that this doesn't affect us on Earth.
Just wondering...Thanks

I have been working on this for a while and can't figure it out. It has been really troublesome for me. Any help would be appreciated.

Suppose that n people numbered 1 to n are lined up with their backs to a wall. Starting at the end of the line, eliminate every other person until only 1 survives. Reverse directions when you reach the end of the line. For example, for n=10, the elimination order is 2,4,6,8,10,7,3,5,1 so the survivor is 9. Let s(n) denote the survivor's number (hence S(10)=9). Find a recursive definition for S(n). You should have a base case and 2 recursive cases-- one for S(2k) and S(2k+1).
