The problem does not say whether or not AB||CD, so we don't know if angle 1 = angle 3. But, because of the Alternate Interior Angles Theorem, we know that angle 2 = angle 4. The correct answer is the last of the multiple choices. Note that 2 and 4 are alternate interior angles, not corresponding angles, which is why the answer is not choice #2.

1=3 and 2= 4 by the alternate interior angle as AC // BD
