I need some help, please! :[

Well, I need to determine the values of x at which a certain fuction is differentiable. Do I just graph it on my calculator? Or is there an algebraic method?

The equation is:
y= square root (x^2 + 9)

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

A function f(x) is said to have a removable discontinuity at x=a if:
1. f(x) is either not defined or not continuous at x=a.
2. f(a) could either be defined or redefined so that the new function IS continuous at x=a.
Let f(x) =\frac{2x^2+3 x -5}{x-1}
Show that f(x) has a removable discontinuity at x=1 and determine what value for f(1) would make f(x) continuous at x=1.
Must define f(1)=

So-called "scientists" claim that dinosaurs roamed the earth a million years ago, but there is proof that they existed only a few thousand years ago! There are footprints in Mexico where dinosaurs and humans walked side by side. Since we know humans came to North America only a few thousand years ago, that proves dinosaurs were around then, too.

This is yet another hole in the thoery of evolution. Even scientists agree that it is full of holes!
