I think if you check out the validity of your sources, you will find that Nostradamus did not predict anything for 2012.
There is all kinds of stuff on pseudowebsites that are predicting false things about 2012. Once people started to hear about the Mayan calendar, they joined the bandwagon proclaiming the all too familiar end of the world was again coming.
When did you first hear of the 2012 Nostradamus predictions?
Why is it that nothing was known about such predictions 10 years ago?
Since Nostradamus quatrains are written in mixed up form, who is the author who researched and organized these quatrains which supposedly speak of 2012?
If nothing else, 2012 will provide persons with a test of their gullability. Hopefully, the result will be a way to prevent anyone from posting anything on a website without factual evidence.

1. Nostyradamus says nothing about 2012.
2. Nostradamus did not know there was such a thing as a Mayan calendar.
3. Dec.21 2012 will be the last day of the present 'long count' in the Mayan Calendar; Dec.22 will be the first day of the next one.
4. If they were 'simply predictions' there would be a way to test them (that is how theories are evaluated: you test their predictions).

It seems as good a guess as anyone's. There is alot of other predictions that seem to support that theory. These other predictions were all made in different times in history and in different cultures. However, according to the bible, the end of time as we know it will be when noone expects it. This mayan calender prophecy is becoming a pretty famous prediction nowadays so if you take the bible at its word then obviously the world wont end on the last date of the Mayan calender. Pretty interesting prediction though.

The Mayan calendar does NOT end. It starts over, just like our normal yearly calendar does.
As for the rest, we'll know before 2013, won't we?
I won't lose any sleep over it, although there will probably be more suicide cults springing up as the date approaches. Some people are so gullible, just because they refuse to believe in anything else, including themselves.
