A company find that there is a linear relationship between the mount of money that is spends on advertising and the number of units it sells. If It spends no money on advertising, it sels 300 units for each additional $5000 spent, an additional 20 units are sold.

if x is the amount of money that the company spends on advertising, find a formula for y, the number of units as a function of x

Thank you!!

I have to do a science project (it's kinda like a science fair type thing) I am allowed to do a project/ experiment on any topic but it's so hard to pick one that's not too hard. This is the first time I'll be doing a project like this so can anyone Please help me think of an easy topis I can do? I was leaning more towards something that has to do with fruits or vegetables. I have spent so many hours online trying to find something good to do but I honestly cant find something "interesting" and simple for me to do. Please help me. By the way, I'm in eighth grade and I just got in to seminar science so this stuff is new to me.

Given: V=(1/3)Bh, where B is the area of the base and height.

A pyramid has a rectangular base. Find the volume if the length and width of the base and and the height are three consecutive odd integers and x is the largest integer.

The answer I came up with:
(x^3 - 3x^2 + 2x)/3

If it's wrong can someone show me how to figure out this equation?

A crate of mass 36kg is released from the top of a ramp. The ramp is 2.5m lang and inclined at an angle of 0 (theta) to the horizontal, where sin 0 (theta) =3/5. As the crate reaches the bottom of the ramp, it gains a speed of 4.5m/s.

(a) Calculate the gain in kinetic energy.
(b) Calculate the loss in potential energy.
(c) Compare the results in (a) and (b), and show that some other form/s of energy must have been produced.
(d) What is the nature and size of the other form/s of energy in (c)?
(e) Calculate the friction between the crate and the ramp.
(f) Find the work done by gravitational force.
