i read online and watched a tv show on history about 2012....scientists said that there was going to be a exact alignment with all the planets in our solar system....and they dont know waht will happen w/ gravity. I had this thought. Surely the conditions for the creation of life still exist here on our planet and has always existed not only x million years ago. If this assumption is correct. Then in our planets natural laboritory in some places , life is still going through the same creation process that it did in the past. I just need help with three problems.

1. A 0.75M solution has a pH of 2.0. Find Ka.

2. A 0.55M solution of a new acid, HX, has an equilibrium [H+]=4.1*10^-2. What is the value of Ka?

3. A base has a Kb=5.5*10^-12, if the concentration of a base is 0.36M, what is the equilibrium value of the hydroxide ion concentration?
