Robert Bigelow the owner of the Budget Suites of America Hotel Chain is currently spending millions of dollars developing a space station that hopefully one day will act as an orbiting hotel for people to stay at. From a scientific and engineering perspective what has kept human kind from putting hotels at the bottom of the sea at all different depths? My guess is money, is it even possible?

Imagine you are at a school that still has student lockers. There are 100 lockers, all shut and unlocked, and 100 students.

Here's the problem:

1. Suppose the first student goes along the row and opens every locker.

2. The second student then goes along and shuts every other locker beginning with number 2.

3. The third student changes the state of every third locker beginning with number 3. (If the locker is open the student shuts it, and if the locker is closed the student opens it.)

4. The fourth student changes the state of every fourth locker beginning with number 4.

Imagine that this continues until the hundred students have followed the pattern with the hundred lockers. At the end, which lockers will be open and which will be closed? Why?

I've been thinking about this much lately, and just curious on your thoughts. What would be most limiting? The technology? I know cost would be insane, but do you think it would be worth it to send humans to another planet to start a new civilization?

An object is thrown downward from an airplane 300m from the ground, with an intial velovity of 5m/sec. How long does it take for the object to reach the ground? (simplify ur answer. And if so which ones would you suggest.

I might be interesting in one a little higher if it's worth the difference? What would be a good higher priced telescope.
