For the first time ever I am suffering with S.A.D. - we have had hardly any bright sunny days!

But I am beginning to wonder what is happening, there is not a lot of media coverage for such a continous crises, for those who are loosing homes and livelyhoods.

The Government and media and very very quiet.....???

Theory :-

Maybe the damned terrorists have started doing the Native American Rain Dance ???

Don't you think you should have started by now? It rained here for ever than finally it stopped and it became so hot we broke records! We put up our pool and the rain came back and just hasn't let up. I've never seen anything like it and I've been around for a long time!! The weather forecast is calling for rain all week with no stopping in sight!! It's not just happening in the UK and Ireland it's happening in Canada too!!The raspberry crop is ruined there rotting on the vine!! We still don't have it as bad as you but if this keeps up I'm trading in the pool for an Ark !!

The problem with boat is where are you going to find the shore. You may land on top of a mountain just like sea life did ,when the water of the deep broke up to form the greater inundation that the world ever had.
I do not think this will occur again. however its a good idea to have a boat if you live in louisiana.

I had the same conversation at work on Friday.
General consensuses where: Yes let's build the ark.

I live in Oxfordshire, England we have; extensive floods. We are going to Cork this year for you "summer holiday"

We thought it would be a good idea.

Maybe we shall sail across in the ark!!

The downpour described by the bible covered the top of the tallest mountain (Everest). The rate of rainfall needed to do this in 40 days would be something like one lake falling on your head every second.

Build what you like. Here in Los Angeles, we got about four inches of rain in the past year.

i'm a member of freecycle and a woman asked for either an ark or wood to build her own, i offered two children to go on unfortunatly, they are both boys, so that would be a waste (plus quite bad as they are also related). lol waddya reckon???

I'd only build an Ark if God came to me and asked me to do so.. if Not , then, I'm very sure God has it all under control.
