Under construction for the last decade and due to be completed in the next 5-15 years, I am curious what others think about this possible 'marvel' of engineering, the relationships between its construction vis-a-vis the World Bank/IMF and private investors, and subsequent effects on archaeological sites and displaced inhabitants, and of course, the efficacy of an enormous project underwritten by governments and private concerns and the almost necessary graft involved.
