ive actually thought about this quite a bit
and if your into evolution, then i think it had something to do with the grooming process, probably realizing its safer to be a little cleaner down there

i dont think it was ever invented. probably a mistake when some noob put it in the wrong hole and then some people prefeered it over vaginal and they think u can avoid getting STDs thru anal, but u can stil get STDs thru anal.
