If we came from the sea by just being, then how is it we need a male and female to reproduce? If creatures just came from creatures then how did they split into male and female? How did that happen?

Like if a one celled animal came out of the sea, was it a male cell? Did it need a female cell to make another thing? At what point did these things decide they could not reproduce themselves? If they couldn't reproduce themselves then how did they come into being? If they could reproduce themselves then whe3n and how did that change to two things (male and female) to reproduce?

Bet I get called alot of names but no serious coherent answers.

I always wondered why there are 24 and not 20 hours in a day. Wouldn't it be easier for us all if there were 10 day-time hours and 10 night-time hours? So easy to show the time using our fingers, right?
And why 60 minutes in an hour? Why not 100 minutes?

Thank you for your prior answers.... I like the one about the Earth
moving... and that"s what makes the moon SEEM to move...

So, if the moon is actually not moving, but only a little per day, and, of course it is not spinning on its self... what keeps it hanging up there? not its movement...

And if it does not have an elevation of its own, are you implying that it is fix on the same orbit every month, and only changes in looks because of planet Earth movement only?

That would almost suggest that the moon is inert in the sence that
it would be a mere dead attachment ... kept soly up by a magnetic side (always the same side)...

And so... if the sun is the cause of the lit side, again I ask..WHY in the DAYLIGHT when the sun is high an the moon is a daylight moon, why isn"t this always a FULL moon than??

take the equation
a ^ (n) - b ^ (n) = d ^ (2) - c ^ (2)
here a,b and n is given which are natural numbers.
find the mathematical relationship between a,b & d,c.
d and c can be rational numbers also.
hint :- its very simple.

Let's say that another intelligent civilization came to Earth peacefully, just to strengthen their knowledge of the universe like we try to. If you had the chance, would you go with them as some type of ambassador from Earth to try to learn as much about them as possible and to one day return and teach mankind what you have learned? Would you go even if there was a chance of not being able to return?

I am struggling with the analysis of my data. I am interested in hearing suggestions about how to improve that analysis.

I am performing an "Event Probability" study. I know the general "probability" of all possible events presented by my data. I have further scrutinized that data and calculated the probability of those same events given the occurrence of another event--a standard "conditional probability" analysis. After performing the "conditional probability" analysis, it is very clear which event is the most probable (let's call it the "Majority Event"). Typically, the "Majority Event" will have a probability of 35% whereas the remainder of events (let's call them "Minority Events") may have probability values of 15%, 13% etc.--which, in the end, is a hefty 65% of all other events in the aggregate.

Is there a way now, using some sort of "frequency analysis" formula or "distribution analysis" formula to determine "Likelihood" over and above probability.
