thats becoz sun is 400 times the moon and coincidentally sun is 400 times farther than the distance between earth and moon.

This is because the moon is a lot closer to us than the sun. Also, the reason they actually appear to be the *same* size is that the moon is just the right distance away at this period in history. The moon used to be a lot closer to the Earth, but it's very slowly spiralling outward, due to the slowing of its orbit from tidal forces.

The diameter of the Sun is about 400 times larger than the diameter of the Moon but the Sun is roughly 400 times further away so they look almost the same size

The sun is totally big. Many earths can fit in there.
The moon is not too big. It is more smaller than the earth.

The sun is small cause it is millions kilometres away from the earth.

The moon is the same size like the sun cause it's closer and smaller.

uhh...like the Earth is the distance constant and stuff....and the moon is smaller than the sun like a raisin to a grap...and umm.....so like the moon is smaller but closer....and see like the sun is bigger than the cheesy moon, but it's like waaaaaaay further like 93 million miles where the moon is like ummI don't maybe the distance from here to cleveland or somethin'?

So like the moon looks like it's the same size and all, but for real, the moon is really waaaaay smaller than the sun. It's kinda' like one of those prespective-like boxes and stuff, all einsteiny and Newton-ish, Dude.
