It is possible to see a fairly fast moving light at night but is this a high flying aircraft (no flashing lights or engine noise) or is it the reflection of light from a satellite above the earth?

For example, if you had a metal embedded in concrete, could you induce vibration in the metal at its resonant frequency, and have it loosen from its surroundings, without totally destroying the concrete, of course!

If you can provide links to back up your answer, that would be great.

I just killed a huge red dragonfly that flew into my room. I feel kinda bad, but it was scary. They make that creepy loud buzzing with the wings, and they look really hideous. What I am wondering, is if dragonflies bite or sting or anything like that? Thank you.
