I used to think this when I was 8.

No. To change the direction/speed of an object in motion, you need to exert a large enough force to overcome its momentum. The earth is a very massive object with a circumference of over 40,000 km at the equator, spinning at a rate of 465.11 metre per second. The amount of force exerted by all of the earth's population, human or otherwise cannot possibly come near to overcoming this.

as the world spins at such a high speed and if the revolution did change in any way whatsoever you would fall off which might be a good thing for asking such a silly question
i'm afraid the answer to your question is a definate no it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference
no offence meant

No, the only way to change the rotation of the earth would be if a large object struck the outside of the earth, ir if magnetic fields or poles changed.

No, I don’t think so. Although there are a lot of humans I think we are so small that we would not have much effect at all. However I have often thought that burning millions of tones of previously buried coal and oil may change the balance of the planet.

using newtonian laws: the earths spin would be effected by this happening. however due to the force of the earths spin and the small force created by the movement, it would have such a negligible that it would be viryually impossible to measure

NO... but most the world's population would drown in the oceans, seas and lakes of the world... others would die in the deserts or major mountain ranges! What a silly idea... don't even consider messing with our rotation... what's wrong with you? lol
