We hear every day that Scientists are seeing stars that are very very old (billions of years old), and that they're seeing into what existed close to the Big Bang. If our solar system was part of that Big Bang, how did we get here before the light from that star did.

Does our galaxy travel in the opposite direction so close to the speed of light that it's taken light billions of years for that light to catch up with us?

Is it true that the magma below the Yellowstone Caldera is moving? If so, why?

Is Yellowstone likely to erupt within the next 1-10 or 20-50 years?

Also, since Yellowstone is considered a supervalcano, what impact will its explosion have on the United States and North America? I understand that it will have global effects also, but I'm interested in the direct impact on the US.

Thanks in advance to all serious responses.

(And please cross your fingers for my upcoming trip.)

Einstein was an atheist who used God as a metaphor for the cosmos and the rules of the universe. His quotes have been misinterpreted by religious people who think Einstein believed in a personal god, or that he had faith in some sort of supernatural basis for the cosmos. Have Einstein's "God quotes" been helpful or harmful in communicating his ideas to future generations?

Air is very dense at sea level so one would imagine that the protons, neutrons & electrons would be close enough together to obscure light.

When life began in the primodial soup we are taught that energy from the sun or lightning reacted with a mix of chemicals in the soup. We know that information is also essential for life, and all life has information encoded within its DNA. So how did the information for the first life get into the primordial soup and where did it come from?

I can see the defence advantage of zig-zag flying, but not for house flies that live indoors. As for the buzzing noise is that not a disadvantage?
