Trying to Conceive - October 2007

I had my last menses on August 11. I took the clomid on days 5-9. I am not sure if I ovulated or not. We never checked. Well it is now October 8th. I have not had a menses since August. Last month my husband and I had sex and after words I spotted. It wasn't enough to use a pad, but it went on for 2 days. I got a BFN when I was 1 week late. My boobs are very sore and have been for 2 weeks now. Does anyone have any advise on what to do, or what is going on? Thank You for your help

what can I do to enhance my ability on ttc, its almost been 5 years and its getting harder for me, I am currenlty taking metformin, what is the percentage of getting pregnant with this drug, and both of my ovaries are covered with cycts, I have irreguler cycles, no pain or cramps during it, today is day 27 of my cycle, from last week I was having slit lite cramps and sore breast I am on my tww, can some one plz help me here, how long did it take for you to conceive with cycts on both of your ovaries? I am 5'1 and weight 127lbs which my dr said is normal, and what are early sysmptoms of pregnancy?

So, my wife and I have been trying to have a kid. (Our first) We did everything right last month... We focused on her ovulation pattern, we both took the appropriate vitamins, I stayed away from hot showers...

Now, we have a successful (positive) pregnancy test, and she's still having the back-ache / cramping / etc. symptoms that she always gets each month before her period starts.

Is this normal? Or, is it a sign that we aren't really pregnant?

ok so im like due for my period on friday could b saturday but i hav taken vitex for 3 cycles now, but the deal is my nipples are so sore at the moment, i usually have only sore breasts when gettin my period, this time round i can barely touch my nipples, just wonderin if the vitex can do this, i also took clomid on days 5-9 of my cycle, i am 14dpo.I am also very bloated like seriously look pregnant, and at the moment am having very mild feelings(cramps) in lower parts. i will take a test but just need sum answers now just to see if any one else got this, i know i have asked b4 a couple of similar questions but i found that u get different answers from different ppl all the time so it makes it more interesting to read:) thanks.

I was waiting until today (Monday) to test and see if I was pregnant, and Sunday CD 36 I got my period... NOOOO!!!!!! I woke with horrible pains!!! I am not pregnant... disappointed.... maybe next time.... this suc%^&%^ks!

I tell ya, I'm about baby sexed out. I have been TTC for 18 months, this is my first month on clomid, and I'm tired of having sex for what seems like a lost cause. I feel like all me and my husband do is have sex to get pregnant. It' getting to the point where I'm just like, hurry up, get in and get out. Ok, so I don't SAY that to him, but that's what I'm thinking. Does anybody else feel this way? And does anybody have these stupid clomid cramps right now? I am about tired of them as well. Give me some encouragement girls. What gives?

me and my husband are young (25 and 30) we eat well, dont smoke, dont drink and exercise regularly. we have a good life and medically we both seem fine.
we have been trying to have a baby since february this year but no luck so far and its starting to get a bit depressing for both of us everytime my period turns up,
and now my 2 best friends are pregnant, one cousing and 3 women at work are all pregnant almost one after another.
WHAT THE HELL !

I feel terrible, anyone else been through this ??

Want to try and have a baby with a friend, but no sex involved. This has been in discussion for 3 years and now is the time to do it. I just want to know if anybody else has tried this at home without the need for clinics and doctors. If all else fails, thats the route we will take!

hi guys. i no this was way to early to take a test but i am on my tww and it got the better of me. only i was shown a BFN which i new i would get but im still gutted. I was 8days past ovulation and i took a test that only picked up 25ml hcg or greater. it was way to early right. do you think i can take on eon the 16 and it be accurate. ill be 19 days past ovulation. thanks

Am so happy i finally got a positive on my urine test and am actually 4 days late.
I just cant believe it after trying for quite some time.
Clomid and prayer did a miracle for me and of course all those who helped answer my questions.i was on clomid 50,100 and finally 150mg.

These were some of my symptoms:
1.I had no sign of ovulation apart from alot of watery cm, not egg white so i believe any one without egg whites can still ovulate.
2.alot of creamy cm immediately after ovulation days.
3.took a test at 10 days past ovulation and was negative.
4.14 days past ovulation was the day AF was to start so i took a test and it was a big positive.am now having slight AF like cramps .

me and my partner have been trying to get pregnant, we had sex during the time i ovulated, i am due my period in the next few days however i dont know if i could be pregnant, i have not had any implantation bleeding but i have also read somewhere that not everyone experiences this is this true is there a chance i could be pregnant as i thought that as i had not experinced implantation bleeding that i was not pregnant please help me im confused

hi there,

i took a pregnancy test yesterday .. there were 2 "fields", one "control - field" (there must be a blue line to assure the test worked correctly) and the other one shows a blue line if ure pregnant.

anyway, until about 1 hour after peeing on it there was NO LINE IN EITHER field (it says the result of the first 10minutes counts,afterwards its invalid",but then after an hour i suddenly had a pale line in the control-field and a normal line in the pregnancy-field.
what does this now mean? is the test invalid, as after 10 minutes there was NOTHING (and it says"dispose after 10min), not even in the control - field, or was the test just slow?i mean,the pregnancy-line cant come from nothing, can it?
please help! thanks

Thats why most people get boys cause the male sperm can swim faster to the egg but the female sperms swim slower but last longer they dont die as quick as the male sperms or something???? I really want a girl :(

OK so my last period was 9/27 and I am every 25 days! So Far I had sex on 10/4 and will Tonight as well and Tomorrow! I am really clueless on how it all works, my last one it just happened, Please any advise would help, does it sound like I am on track? And they say u ovulate every 14th day of an 28 cycle but I am a 25 day person so is that the same? THANKS!!

I asked for advice the other day regarding my wife being a week late. I followed advice and bought a pregnancy test which she took at 3am (first of the day with 8mth baby) It came up neg. She still has bad backache but her tummy keeps tightening when she moves. I know thats an end preg symptom but as she is someone who has terrible period cramps and is in no pain, i was wondering if anyone else has felt this in early pregnancy.

me and my husband bd on wednesday morning, got my opk positive on thursday night, and bd again on friday night(unfortunatley he worked all night on thursday so no chance of bd) also, i had egg white stretchy cm on friday night when we bd. do you think i missed my "window of opportunity" ? was friday night too late? thanks for your opinions and any info!!

Right, I'm getting really confused with this whole trying to conceive thing! I'm not sure whether I'm pregnant or not at the moment and its too early to tell, so I'm still planning next months conception.
I have bought a supply of Clomid. Now should this be taken on days 3-7 or 5-9?
And will my ovulation predictor kit still work?
And the folic acid....I've heard thats a good herbal remedy?
And with clomid and ovulation predictor kits do I still need to track my BBT?
If I cant do these at the same time, which ones are best?
Please don't say talk to my doctor he is a patronising pig!
Thanks, any advice is MUCH needed and appreciated in advance!
