Trying to Conceive - October 2007

My period was due on Oct 2nd still no sign of getting it ... My boobs are a bit tender, tired, exausted, nausea. I had sex on my fertile days and around there .. I've NEVER had my boobs tender when i'm about to get my period either. So do you think I'm pregnant????? Please help ... WhEN should i Test ???? DO YOU THINK I"M PREGNANT?????

ok 2 days ago i took a pregnancy test and it came out positive, i took another one today just to be sure and yet again it came out positive. I've been really really tired i cant even get out of bed. & just the thought of coming home makes me nauseated because of the smells. I also get really bad headaches & back pain. Well my question is how long do i have to wait to make my first appointment with a doctor?

i had my cycle on the 12 of sep and every since then i have been feelling tired, sleepy,and have had pains in my sides alot i was driving down the road and had pain shoot all in my belly it was a tighten feeling then went awway now its oct 4 i have the urge to use bathroom alot and my nipple on the left breast hurt bad i can barly lay on it at night what do this sound like

We have been trying to conceive. I am late, my period usually runs two days late. My boobs have been sore all last week and then started becoming sore again yesterday. I have had a cramp here and there and my lower back has been sore. I have alittle white creammy discarge. This is gross but my cervix is very low and is kindof swollen. I have been haing unprotected intercourse with my husband for 3 and half years. Once I start my period I am suppose to go in for a sonogram and get on metiformin. I am hoping I am prego know so I don''t have to go in. I want to be so bad. Please let me know what you think.....Thank

I know it is often considered close to a form of sterilisation and is for women who dont wish to have any more children but I also know it is possible (but often dangerous) to get pregnant after an endometrial ablation but say you had an endometrial ablation 10-20 years before you wanted kids, would the lining eventually grow back allowing you the get pregnant?

Hi Everyone.... I am 33 and i have PCOS... I had my Ovaries drilled last month, and I started my cycle this month on my own with out medication to start me and took my (first round ) of Clomin 100mg. I went to my physician on the 16th day to see if I were producing any follicals... There were none.... But I also had a VERy Light Cycle, that lasted 13 days. My physican said it wasn't a problem. I do not believe I have ever produced eggs.... I do not have any scar tissue on my uterus, and my ovaries are always normal in size, but I have evidence if small cysts.... How long does it take for the Clomid to work, if at all for women with PCOS... My Physician upped my dose to 150 mg for next month... thanks for any info

I am also on 1500 mg a day of metformin

Alright I have listened to all your opinions and I understand your view now, I will not be sneeky about it. But would it be wrong to just "hope" it happens? considering he's the one not using protection and using the pull out method. So I will not try to make attempts behind his back to get preg when he says he doesent want kids. "but then why does he take a chance? that's something to think about" We have condoms but he hasent used them recently and of course I allow it because I do want to get preg. Does he think about it, but at the same time is scared? That's what I think. If we continue just having sex this way then is it wrong to continue "hoping" I do get preg? Because I wont technically do anything to help reinforce it, I just allowed it to happen. What's your opinion on that?

2 miscarages in 6 months, i went to docs for some help, she told me i need to loose weight & be more possitive, im only a size 16-18 & i have seen fatter people then me getting pregnant, how can i be positive when i have just lost 2 babies!!! she said that she wont help me with treatment untill i am 22-23, as im only 20 now, am in a good relationship, due to get married, and have my own property, she says that im not old enough or ready for a child, me and my partner have been trying for 2 yrs now and i dont know what is wrong, i can get pregnant but just cant carry it. she was very rude & didnt really care, i know she had to be honist but she could have been nicer about it, she also said that their is only a 10% chance that i would ever carry full term, its so hard & i want to know has anybody else gone through this and been successful (or not) and to have other views on this and what to next. please help me cos im going out my mind.

So I think I might be pregnant. I am about a week or so late. I have gone through all the symptoms of having my period except for actually having it. Usually right before I get my period my face breaks out real bad. It clears up 2 days before I get done with my period. Also I usually start PMSing about 2 days before my period and stop mid-way through. I have gone through all of this this past week, but no period. I know I need to go take a pregnancy test and I plan on doing that when I get off work but can anyone tell me from personal experiences, their thoughts on this. Also, if I am can anyone give me some advice on what to do from here. I know I will need to puit smoking and drinking, see a doctor, etc... Anything you can tell me will be helpful. I really hope I am. Thanks a bunch!!

I am finding it so difficult to concieve so i thought it has to do with my breast milk that is yet to be dried and can I use clomid and pls what are the side effects of clomid or at least you can prescribe the kind of drugs that I can use to aid my conception. Next year ('08) is when my husband and I are going to try (due to health reasons) and I was wondering is it worth it to tell people if they're only going to keep asking, "Are you pregnant yet?" I know this sounds weird, but I'm more in the mood right after and right before my period. And then it seems during ovulation, I'm less in the mood. (I don't NOT have sex during ovulation, I'm just saying, it seems like I'm less in the mood around that time). Isn't that weird? You'd think it would be the opposite!

I've wanted a baby for so long now it's painful! I hate it every month when i come on again. I'm 36 and every month i get less and less able to get pregnant. We've had the tests and, apart from having mild endometriosis in 1997 which i cleared up with tablets, everything else is fine.

im now half way through my tww and its killing me. i have pcos and never ovulate so it was such a shock to ovulate last thursday. i was just wondering if anyone else what on their tww and can relate to what im saying. also when should i test and have a quarenteed + if i am as i dont want to test to early and it be neg. so when the time when it will be almost 100% correct. also in no its extreamly early but are there any signs to looh out for as i have high temp and very soar to the touch boobs. thanks

Hi, I just came from doctorand he told me that from my blood test I got high testosterone level. He said it could be due to PCOS that I was never diagnosed with before. But he said that it might not be, because another hormone he checked and would higher if I had PCOS, was ok. I was just wondering if my testosterone levels could be high because I was on the pill till February this year. I don' t want to believe that I have PCOS, still have to go for scan, but it will take time. Makes me so worried. Anyone with PCOS had only testosterone levels high?

First off a little background...I'm 8 DPO and I'm testing with "early" tests which say they can detect pregnancy at 6-8 DPO.

I took 1 test this afternoon, read it at 3 minutes and forgot about it...at 20 minutes I remembered and checked again...no real reason why, I just looked....there was a very very faint test line, I blew it off as an evap line, but decided to test again a few hours later...this time I noticed a VERY VERY faint line at 3 minutes....I showed dh and he saw it too ( after squinting for a sec) we waited and then did 2 more tests....both are the same...it's SO faint you really have to look just right....but it's there...in the same exact spot on all the tests...just super light...I mean so light at fist glance it looks like a negitive...you have to look for the line and then you notice a really faint line running top to bottom...what does it mean?!!!! we are testing again in the morning but I'm so excited that I really need some feed back so I can sleep...haha

i was wondering what would my chances be if i wanted to fall pregnant again because i had a scan to veiw my womb and that and found a small cyst on one of my ovarys and didnt say much about it afterwards because they were more focused about my infection and epilepsy so do i still have a high chance of getting pregnant again or is it 50/50 because of it

A while back my mom mentioned that if I ever wanted kids, but couldn't have any with my partner, that she'd act as a surrogate. So, I have two quesitons:
1) Is this possible?
2) Has anyone carried a baby for their child(ren), or has anyone's mother carried a baby for them?
