Trying to Conceive - October 2007

Any suggestions to make it work this time.
Metformin+clomid+hcg+iui is the route we hv been adviced.

I am about 5 weeks along and i am paranoid about everything. This is my first pregnancy and I really want to end up with a beautiful healthy baby in about 8 months. I am always worried that something is wrong, if I dont have as many pregnancy sypmtoms one day I'm worried that I lost the baby. I'm worried about everything I eat and do and how it will affect the baby. If I go out to eat I worry the whole time, was the food fresh, did they wash thier hands, did everything get cooked properly. Is this normal for me to feel this way? Does anyone have any advice to help me relax and enjoy the pregnancy more? Thank you.

i have been trying to concieve for almost a year and no luck..i used a opk this month and had sex on all my fertile days...hoping im pregnant..
anyway,,, im due for my period on the 10th so i usually have PMS by now..but latley ive been really afectionate and emontional,,not usual for PMS week ..for me anyway..could this be a sign?

im really confused me and my fianc'e have been trying to concieve. and weve had unprotected sex all this month even on ovulation day. I usally have a 28 day cycle. The thing im so confused about is that i was supposed to get my period saturday but when i woke up this morning i had really light bleeding so im still trying to figure out if its my period. If it gets hevier it probably is. But why do they say you can get pregnant if you have unprotected sex? could i still be pregnant if it continues to stay light. can you get your period while your pregnant.


P.s in september i came of birth control and before i came off birth control i had my period then a week after i came off i had my period again.

My boyfriend and I had sex the day before and on my ovulation day (shown by ovulation test) and a few days after that I started producing thick white mucus which I've never had before. Anyway, today is day 28 and my period is never on the same day every month but the last couple of months it's been every 32 days, so I took an early pregnancy test (one of those that you can do up to four days early) and it came back positive. As soon as I peed on it, the pregnancy line showed up and didn't get any fainter! Am I pregnant??

when you have those pains in your left and or right side does that mean your already ovulating or already ovulating?? i have ovulated yet this month so i want to have sex before i have those pains right? thanks in advance :)


one more question i went to babyhopes.com and ordered the LH ovulation strips IF you have used them did they help you? mine are always really faint i just started to use them and i know they have to be equal to or darker than the control line

So my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for so long. I've been trying everything and I dont kno what to do anymore..Im young, i'm only 20 years old and we both got good jobs, have our own house, etc. I just dont know whats going on. I cry all the time about this becuase all I want is a child. I can feel myself getting more and more depressed. I try not to think about it but its not that easy to do. After this month if there is still nothing, i think im going to stop for awhile. I cant keep puttin myself threw this..Has anyone else been threw this and so young like me? i'm not really sure how long my cycle is and when i ovulate but my last period started on the 11th sept 07. 10, 11, 12 and around 15 and 16 days after, my partner and I had sex. On the 30th ( 20 days after period started) I got really bad period cramps and really slight spotting three times when i went to the toilet, altho there was only blood when I wiped, and I thought I was gonna come on but there's been nothing since. it's now day 23, what do you reckon? May I just add that I would be happy to be pregnant but just don't want to fool myself into thinking I am and be disappointed.

consult my ob, and there are irregularities in my hormones, my ob give some advices and i do what she says, in fact i was admitted and take a d&c.after having some laboratories & medicines, i got normal, and my menstruation becomes regular, since me and my husband want a child, my ob monitored my eggs, i have an fft, then after that my doctor injects me for breaking my follicles and she prescribe me to take progynova for my endometrium coz, the last time i have a tvs, my endometrium becomes thin, after that, i folllow what my doctor says, like when to contact,then days past&we're hoping that i get pregnant, but sad to say i have mens for that month( August) that we're expected i'm pregnant. Then, after my mens for august,i had sex with my husband after 10 days of my period,we had sex for 5 days on the second 10 days of my period.After that, i waited for my next period which is on Sept. 16 but then, i was delayed until now. I got a test & it's negative, Am I prgnant?i don't have signs

I am 14 dpo and I tooka test last night and it was very very faint positive (answer brand). Went to the store today and bought a clear blue digital one that came with 2 tests. I also went to the dollar store and bought 3 of their $1 ones. Tonight I took all 3 Dollar store ones (all negative). Then I used the same urine (used a cup) And dipped the digital one in it. It showed up "pregnant". I am going to take the other digital one in the morning when I wake up ....but I was just wondering what you all thought. Could the digital one be wrong or the cheap dollar store ones? Anyonw had this expeerience. Ive been trying to conceive for so long. I have PCOS and Im on my first round of Clomid and metformin every day. I also had an injection of HCG to trigger ovulation and had sex all the days I was suppoe to. I have very sore nipples sice 4 dpo and that same day I had major cramping. The nipples still hurt and the cramping comes once and a while but not as bad as the day it started.

I have only had a clear discharge. I didn't get the usual creamy stretchy thick mucus as usual. Does this mean I didn't ovulate? It was just clear and not sticky, but slippery. AI am having light cramps and the discharge hasn't gone away. I am due for my period around the 12th.

This is my first cycle on Clomid. It's now been 7 days since my last pill and I have not ovulated...at least i have not turned an opk anything close to positive. I was ovulating on my own every month around day 14. I was prescribed Clomid for unexplained infertility/possible luteal phase defect. We have been trying for 2 years now. I'm getting very anxious that I won't ovulate!

do ovulation cramps happen right before you ovulate or during. I am getting mixed signals with my opk and these cramps...which i have never gotten before but i think the clomid i am taking has intensified the process. Anyone else have this?

Is there a pill you can take that (brings back) regulates your period and helps you ovulate that is NOT a birth control pill? I havent had my period for over a yr, and I was given a pill to get it, well I got it and its been 3 months since then and now I have a doctors appointment the end of October to go in and look at my options. I was wondering if there were any pills out there that I could take that will give me my monthly period and help me ovulate so my husband and I can get pregnant?????

I've read that Doctors recomend waiting 18 months before trying for another baby. I don't want to wait that long. Is 17 months okay to start trying? I know it's only by a month and the chances are only 25% to concieve in the first try but I got pregnant with our first on our first try and my mom and her mom and my aunt all got pregnant on all of their first tries with all of their kids.

me and my bf have been together for about 3 years and sunday (sept 30) we had unprotected sex and i wanna take a pregnancy test just to be sure. now i just got off my period sept 25 and i dont wanna wait untill 5 days after a missed period. so how long am i suppose to wait after having sex to take a test?

and please no one say anything about the whole unprotected sex thing. i know i shouldn't have and my friend has already been gettin on my butt ever since i told her.
