do ovulation cramps happen right before you ovulate or during. I am getting mixed signals with my opk and these cramps...which i have never gotten before but i think the clomid i am taking has intensified the process. Anyone else have this?

thanks!

I have had ovulation cramps for years. I think they happen right at ovulation. For me, they usually last a couple of hours, and they are very different from any other cramps I have ever had. They wake me up if they start in the middle of the night.

I have cramps before, during and after ovulating. I have been on Clomid and I never had cramps taking that. Were you on the pill before you started on Clomid? I had to be on the pill for 12 days to regulate my cycle and then got on Clomid. I only had cramps when I was on the pill those 12 days. I don't think Clomid makes you cramp. I know other people who have taken that and they never said anything about cramping. They were successful at getting pregnant and I wasn't. Good Luck!

The ovulation cramp happens when the egg bursts from the ovary.

I had them without drug intervention.... Last pregnancy was twins... and I know when I ovulated due to the ovulation cramp.... and that I had relations on that day....

Go see a gynaecologist, write down all the Q? and medications that you are on, in the mean time see your pharmacist and find out side effect of what you are taking. It could be some food.
