Yes, you can spot when you are pregnant. A lot of women get implantation bleeding which is basically a little bit of bleeding when the egg attaches to the uterus. This is usually just shortly before when your regular period would come.
When you are pregnant, you also have more blood flow to the cervix. It is also possible to have bleeding from the cervix when blood vessels break. This usually shows itself as pink or brown discharge and happens quite often shortly after intercourse (because it irritates the cervix).
You can also have bleeding at other times during the pregnancy. Most of the time it isn't serious, but it's best to get it checked out by your doctor just to make sure.

Yes. When I was pregnant I spotted each month for three months. That being said, spotting can be a sign of a miscarriage. If you think you may be pregnant it is best to get tested.

Yup, thats exactly what happened to me with baby # 2. I was spotting and thought it was my period. It never really started "flowing" and the next month I missed any signs of a period altogether. Surprise Surprise Baby # 2 on the way.

Many women report spotting in the first trimester. It can be from a variety of things. As long as it's not red bleeding it's nothing to be concerned about. If it is red bleeding, it's labeled as a "threatened miscarriage", although about half will continue on to have a healthy baby.

There are lots of women that spot during pregnancy. I have 2 cousins that spotted during their first trimesters. As long as your doctor is aware you should be fine.
