I've wanted a baby for so long now it's painful! I hate it every month when i come on again. I'm 36 and every month i get less and less able to get pregnant. We've had the tests and, apart from having mild endometriosis in 1997 which i cleared up with tablets, everything else is fine.
Please sprinkle magic dust on my dreams. I so want a baby. And my partner does too.

Keep the faith.

I got pregnant for the first time in my life last year aged 34 after being with my ex for 10 years and my current partner for 2 and never ever conceiving.

I'd never ever been pregnant, never even had a pregnancy scare. After my current partner and I got together I went to the doctors to have all the tests done (my ex didn't want kids and so wasn't willing to be tested) to fnd out why I couldn't get pregnant. It was a real nuisance, loads of blood tests, ultrasounds, invasive internal exams, and finally a laparoscopy and dye. The upshot was that although I had mild endometriosis there was nothing really stopping me getting pregnant.

My partner (poor guy is 11 years younger than me and it was hard for him to have to go through all this) had to have loads of spem analysis tests done. The result was that he had a low sperm count, but again, not so low that it would rule out pregnancy. Because his count was low, they wanted to do a blood test to check his hormone levels and he refused as he has a needle phobia. That was hard on me as I felt he wasn't cooperating.

We'd basically been told that as my partner's sperm count was pretty crap really we'd need ICSI (which we couldn't afford and NHS waiting lists are 4 years long in my area). I'd given up all hope and was feeling really depressed.

I took 2 weeks off work to have a rest and it sounds silly but, I had spiritual healing to help me feel more positive. the healer said that she knew a baby would come along when the time was right.

Later that month I got my first ever positive pregnancy test!

I now have a beautiful 10 month old son who is my entire world.

So keep the faith. Don't give up hope. My mum feels the lap+dye might have helped me - some people think the action of the dye going through your tubes can clear minor blockages. Go to your doctor and ask for some further investigation. Try FAM (Fertility Awareness Method) if you're not already trying it. Take prenatal vitamins (I think they helped me to conceive) and go easy on yourself. Don't be afraid to seek out alternative therapies either, I am a firm beleiver in them!

*BABYDUST* to you!!

Have you tried some holistic therapies? Like reflex, or bali massage?
I went on a course for bali massage and they do a move that is supposed to help people with edrometriosis.
I have been trying for a year and every month i get the same result, yet experience all the symptoms of pregnancy. yet... the good old period starts. I hate it.
Positive thinking and not getting too stressed about it will help too.
Go on holiday, forget about baby making, and just chill.
it might happen when you least expect it.

Here's a heavy dusting of baby powder! I hope it works for you! Don't give up! I'm a bit younger then you, but I know how frustrating TTC can be - it's taken us about 4 years to get to our current state.... the baby's due in about 6 weeks!
