My husband and I have been trying since last October with no luck. I know that the Lord will bless us when the time is right, but I can help but be impatient. We are very ready-by our standards, but the Lord might have something else in his plan for us. Please lift us up in prayer and offer any incouraging words you may have to offer.

I will be sure to keep you in my prayers. Like you said, the Lord might have something else in mind for you guys right now but it doesn't hurt to be optimistic. It may not be that you are not "ready," but there may be something for you two to accomplish before expanding your family. He may be getting ready to do something great in your lives that doesn't include having a child at the moment. When it is your time, you will know. And it will also be in HIS timing. I know it is sometimes hard to hear these things when you are really looking to hear something else. But just hand in there.

Maybe the method you guys are using isn't working. Have you tried to figure out when you ovulate so you can have sex around that time? There are other natural inventions that you can check into to see if that has any bearing on the situation.

Keep your head up and continue to trust in God that He knows what He is doing. I pray that things go as they are supposed to go. And I pray God will give you peace and patience in this situation. God Bless you and your family.

I am very sorry that you feel so sad, I myself have been feeling the same way but I eventually gave up hope. I do not do the temping and charting thing anymore, I even at one point said GOD is laughing at me and doesn't want us to have a family. You give me hope and encouragement to try again but I don't know how I can cope with another high hoping day in the end only to be let down. I wish I were as strong as many of the women I have saw online. I hope all your prayers get answered and you beautiful baby comes into your life, full of love, joy, and parents who care. I will continuously pray for you because I too know how that feels to be let down! With the most regards and love bless you.

Yes, I will pray for you... I too am TTC and it is all in God's time.... It is so WONDERFUL to see questions like this.... Many people do not put the Lord in their Plans. And he will bless you if it be in his will.... Sometimes What we want isn't what the Lord wants for us, and I have to pray his will be done . It is discouraging. I am 33 years old, and I have PCOS, and I have been TTC just the past two months, and I plan to give it 18 months. After that, I am letting it go... And I am accepting what God has for my life.... You Are in My prayers for God's Will...... God Bless and be patient, and believe in Gods Promise

Absolutely you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Honestly, from what I have heard from many people is as soon as they stop trying and just relax it happens. It is all in God's time, and as impatient as we may get (I have a huge problem with impatience) he sees the big picture when we dont. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish you best of luck, and I am positive once that child does enter your lives after trying and working so hard for him or her that they will be an extremely loved and appreciated child!

You sound like you are willing to follow God's will....that is the best place to be. I sure will pray for you...to either have a baby or whatever God has in store for you that might be better. He sees the big picture when we do not. God bless you and keep you close to Him.

Why don't you try the Ayurvedic herb called Shilajit. In male rats it increased sperm production and in female rats it induced ovulation in 7 out of 9 rats.
Here is the abstract link:

I know we are not rats but it is part of Ayurvedic medicine for fertility :)
Have you also tried Agnus castus...the known fertility herb in the West. This works by regulating your cycles so as to promote more ovulatory cycles. Several women have had successful pregnancies from taking this herb. I would try this first if you haven't done so. You will have to monitor yourself by taking regular pregnancy tests though because you will have to stop taking it as soon as you become pregnant.

As a Muslim I believe it will happen when it is meant to happen and when it does it will be a blessing from our Creator and Sustainer. Insha'Allah I will keep you in my prayers.

There is hope...stay optimistic and take any advice that is on offer because God (Allah)... Glorious and exalted is He (subhana wa ta'ala) works in mysterious ways.

Stay hopeful :)

God said be fruitful and multiply, he's not going to give you a command and not allow you to complete it.

Just like your faith works for anything else, it works for this to. BE pregnant. Dont try, dont hope it will happen, just be it.

Are you cursed that he would close your womb? Is your husband beyond the blessings of God? Unless you're living in some sort of sin, or condemnation of your own design, you have no reason to expect your body should fail to do what it was commission and created to do. If you let fear step in between you and God it will take hold. You fear you cant get pregnant, and by that device you've set yourself up for hardship.

Go get this book: http://www.amazon.com/Supernatural-Childbirth-Jackie-Mize/dp/0892747560/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-7384215-6283137?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1191525507&sr=8-1

It says child birth, but half of it is about getting pregnant according to God's word.

You are right, the LORD has a plan for you and the children you will raise. Maybe the little spirit you are meant to have isn't quite ready to leave heaven and come on down...I'll pray for you. Don't get discouraged, you'll be a mommy someday.

I feel for you. It took me 4-1/2 years to conceive. Since you've been trying for a year now, I would recommend that you and your husband be checked out by the doctor to make sure nothing is affecting your fertility. Good luck.
