Hi, I just came from doctorand he told me that from my blood test I got high testosterone level. He said it could be due to PCOS that I was never diagnosed with before. But he said that it might not be, because another hormone he checked and would higher if I had PCOS, was ok. I was just wondering if my testosterone levels could be high because I was on the pill till February this year. I don' t want to believe that I have PCOS, still have to go for scan, but it will take time. Makes me so worried. Anyone with PCOS had only testosterone levels high?

you dont even need the testosterone levels to be high. all my hormones are fine, im not over weight and dont have body hair, or male patten baldness ( all common symptoms for pcos) all i do have is pelvic pain, no periods, no ovulation and ovarys full of cysts. and i have been ttc for 2 years with no luck. So what im saying is you dont need all the symptoms to have pcos. i have it but none of the other symptoms and still cant have kids.

I have pcos and my symptom's and levels change all the time!
you could have it and only have high testosterone.

Ask him to do an ultrasound to see if you have cysts.
I hope everything works out for you and it's not pcos!! *Crosses fingers* good luck hun!

sadly, no. i have pcos too. i don't have the hair dilemma, but the meds i'm on for my period regulation b/c otherwise i get sick. not to mention bleed a LOT. so pills are the only thing to do until you get older. i'm 30 and i'm still on them. it's annoying, i know. i'm sorry...but that's the way it is with pcos. it doesn't just go away. as for your tummy..keep working on it. it'll go. i'm actually workin on the same thing! :)
