That USED to be the case. Not any more, not in this day and age. But I do believe that people who wait to have sex until they are married usually stay together longer. I know several older couples who were each others first and only, and waited until marriage. My great aunt and uncle are one of those couples.

Sure it may make him stay longer but if that's all your thinking about... no offense but chances are he will leave anyway.
The trick to making a guy stay, is love, he needs to love you and you need to love him.
Getting married will only prolong the relationship and can also cause more stress and a lot more costly in the breakup.
As for a child, no way in hell should you think about having a child just to make him stay. There are plenty of us women who are trying to have a baby in our happy stable relationships and not succeeding. So why on earth should a woman whos only reason for having a baby is to keep her man for a couple months longer. What happens after that?
I don't want to cause you offense but you really need to think through before doing anything you may regret in the future.

It has taken medical science more than 2000 years to find what we knew all along in India,for centuries.A marriage provides a natural balance to life, as a man and women act as compliments as well as supplements to each other.We all know that any thing which is balanced and stable has a better life span.

According to me.
Marriage is not only for physical relation ship. But it differentiate between animals and humans.
We should not behave like animals to have sex and leave the partner, we are human being and we have to follow some rules and regulations.
If some one says that he don't follow Traffic rules on the road then tell me what will happen to him. In the same way Marriages got some rule and regulation according to their religion and their country.
