Congratulations!!!!
A false negative is not unusual in pregnancy tests, but a false positive is usually positive. The symptoms for pre-menses mirror with the symptoms of early pregnancy. Even if she has a period/menses (although usually lighter and lasting less days than the normal menses) she could still be pregnant. I you are really concerned, I suggest a Beta HCG (blood test ordered by her Dr.) to determine pregnancy and approx. gestational age. Good Luck...

I would have to say CONGRATULATIONS!
If the test says positive then you are expecting your first child. Many signs of pregnancy are the same as period signs. Cramping, moodiness, back pain.
She needs to call the doctor and make an appointment. Chances are they will not want to see her until she is 8-10 weeks pregnant unless she wants to go in to confirm the pregnancy or she is having problems.
Good Luck!

If you had a positive test then you are pregnant!! Congrats! The early symptoms esp. since she may be implanting are very similar to pms symptoms. She should ask a doctor but mine allowed tylenol only - but that should help with the back ache.

Congrats you are pregnant but will have to see your doc for the official yes. It is somewhat common for women to have periods after they get pregnant and the symptoms for pregnancy and the start of her period could be the same. I had a period while I was pregnant for both of mine. Try not to stress to much about it and call your doc.

It is rare to have a false positive, so you are probably pregnant. Some women still experience those symptoms for the first couple of months. Good luck to you.

Your wife is pregnant. The symptoms of pregnancy are very similar to those of your menses. If the test was positive and she still doesn't believe it, have her take another to put her mind at ease.

Pregnancy symptoms are very similar to those of a period. I would say that the pregnancy test is accurate. Congrats!
