Trying to Conceive - March 2007

I am 33 years old, my son is 19 months old and I am ready for another. My cycles are really short though. Before I got pregnant I was at 28 days and my period lasted 5-6 days. Now they are 25 days apart and are only 2-3 days long. Could something be wrong? They just seem VERY short.

I have been charting temps and cervical mucas and I have noticed that I ovulate every 2-3 cycles. Also confirmed by lack of breast tenderness.

What are things I can do to prevent anovulation while trying to conceive?

My wife has an egg on Tueday. On Wednesday night and Friday night we had sex. Next Saturday the doctor (gynae) checked and found sperms had mostly died. But the sperm count, mobility, etc was found normal from the bottle sample done few days earlier. The doctor said this is due to toxic in the vagina? Is there such thing? How to overcome it? Another doctor suggested that it is due to incompatibility between the sperm and the vagina fluid. I never heard of it before. Anyone knows?

ok i have been cramping pretty much all day not bad just uncomfortable when i went to the restroom earlier i noticed some light blood not enough to use a pad and its only there when i wipe what could this mean i think i may be pregnant someone please help and please no rude answears

we are trying to conceive and we did it when i was ovulating two days in a row. i did not wait after we did it and took shower, and neither i raised my legs... i heard it is important to wait for 5 to 15 minutes after...is it true?because i washed out everything right after.

My husband and I had sex on the day I was supposed to ovulate which was the 21/22. Im now experienceing a burning sensation on my nipple(only the right). Sometimes I have twinges and mild cramping on my left and right side, sometimes both. We have been ttc for almost 7 months now. Am I finally pregnant?

I am wondering if this could be implantation bleeding maybe??

My last period was 2nd March, I had brown discharge/spotting on the 22nd march, lasted for 3 days. I also had cramping, headache and feeling sick. Now I don't feel anything and the spotting is gone.
I have either a 29 day cycle or a 39 day cycle.

I know that this was defiantly not a period, as it was not enough for a pantyliner and normally I am heavy. The colour was different too.

Any idea what this could be??

I am trying to conceive and my ovulation window ends today. two days ago i had a white creamy mucus, yesterday t was clear and watery (it dissapeared quickly off my fingers) and today its like all gone.. what could this mean? I don't really think I ever got the thick stretchy mucus.

My sister and her Japanese girlfriend have been together for over 4 years now. They are going to visit a sperm bank this July. They are not open about their relationship to their co-workers or neighbors (though they suspect something anyway). Being gay is looked down more in Japan than in the US overall, as well as a woman having a child by going to a sperm bank. My sister still wants to feel like she is a part (a mom) to their baby. Any ideas? Right now they are going with: 1. Japanese girl had a boyfriend in a different state 2. Japanese girl went to a sperm bank (still doesn't let my sister be a mom) 3. Just be straight out with it (fearing they could both lose their jobs, one of them doesn't work for an actual company) They ARE going to have a baby, THAT isn't what I am asking. Any help will be appreciated.

My husband and I are trying to have a baby and my ovulation date was March25. I really want to know if we were successful in creating a baby. We both cant wait till next month to find out. I know that your mind begins to play tricks on you and can make you think that you have symptoms when you really don't. Does anyone have any advice....maybe I have to wait until next month....but what can we do to keep are mind off of it in the mean time?

If you're tring to conceive have sex 14 days after your period.
Please clear this up,
Does this mean, 14th day as in, Day # 1 being the 1st day of your period, or 14 days after your period ends.??

I was prescribed Prometrium after having a missed period for four months. I take 200mg of Prometrium for 12 nights for 3 months. I have just finished my second cycle of prometrium and my period came like clock work. I have one more cycle to do in April and my doctor said that alot of the time women will end up pregnant while taking this or soon after..i was wondering how often does this actually happen? has anybody gotten pregnant while being on prometrium?

This is me and my husband's 6th month TTC. This month We had intercourse the two days before and the day of ovulation. I'm on my 8th dpo now, but about 3 days ago my nipples started getting really tender, but I usually don't get this before my period, could this be a sign of pregnancy?

Had a m/s 8 months ago. Been trying to conceive since then. Have irregular periods and just started using OPK.
I hate charting BBT, mostly because at the end it will only tell me about the day after ovulation.

1st month on OPK, I followed the instructions to the letter. No luck there.
Shouldn't OPK work the 1st time around if you do it right?
This is getting annoying, I'm still sad from my miscarriage..and stressed out TTC.
