Trying to Conceive - March 2007

I cycle (hard) for 45 minutes 3 times a week and lift weights. Also, do you have any nutrition advise while on IVF?

I just started taking birth control a couple days ago , how long does it take to become affective?? and if your going to have side affects from it would they happen soon after beginning to take them ?

I have read on many sites that I an order to conceive a baby boy one should have sex on the odd days of the month ? Does
it mean dates 1,3,5.....So on? Or it has some other meaning.

It seems like my left ovary cycle is 29-30 days, and my right ovary cycle is 25-26 days. Is that common?

I went off bc the end of December. My periods are very regular, about 25-26 days apart, but my period itself only lasts 24-48 hours. Since going off the bc it has been mostly brown with maybe a tinge of pink the last few hours. TMI I know, sorry. Anyway, is it still possible that I am ovulating? I have checked my mucus and temp and they both indicate ovulation, however I am still not pregers. I have an appointment with my gyno next week, but just looking for some answers before then. Thanks for any info you can give me.

Ive had a feeling that i have been pregnant for the last week or so...ive been really tired, ive been eating alot, my breasts arent really soar but like my under arms are, ive had unprorected sex (however ive noticed that i dont get pregnant really easy, ive been trying for almost 6 months now and still nothing) my period is also never really regular, but its still past due, by about a week, but then today i started to get cramps ( but when i usually get cramps they are VERY VERY bad) and these arent too bad i havent had to take anything to ease the pain or anything, but im also bleeding alot but not heavy and the blood is dark brown and its not very thick at all, im not sure if this is my period thats about to start, or if its implantation bleeding....i havent taken a test yet because i thought it was too soon, if it is implantation bleeding is it still too soon to take a test?? and also if it is implantation bleeding is it unsafe to use a tampon, just incase it might be my period??

I found out the month before last that I had miscarried. Last month I had a regular period. This month I am 10 days late. I took 2 HPT one last night one this morning and they were both negative. I was just wondering if it is normal for your period to be messed up after a miscarriage? I have always had a regular period before I found out that I was pregnant. Then I started bleeding and bleed for 38 days. When I went to the doc he said I was miscarrying. We are still TTC and I am going to the doctor next week but my nerves are shot right now and I was wondering if it was normal. Thanks! (sorry for the rambling)

So my husband and i are trying...well, I started to see a new obgyn the past 4 months. The test results and things he is telling me are making me to think i can't conceive a baby! Everytime I came back from the Dr. I was very depressed. What should I do?? Do I really have a much lower chance to get pregnant? Help!

i took a pregnancy test this morning and it was a very faint positive. a few hours later i looked at it and it just looked like an evap line. when should i take another test? was it a positive or an evap line?

hi can someone plz give me an explanation if possible? i ovulated last friday i also had the strechy discharge and twinges in my left hand side, so i had sex with my hubby the moment i saw i had my LH surge.but today ( tuesday) i have a dull stomach ache. do you think i am just being to corsious or does it mean anything. please help and give me your opinion, i would really appreciate it. thankyou.

my Ovulation was on the 11 of March and we want a baby (me and my hubby). My period was supposed to come yesturday. However id didn't (good begining) ,Today Early morning I took a Walgreens Urine Test (17.99) and it came back as a negative! Ohh boy.. i`m wondering maybe i have a problem that I cant conceive! Hope NOT!!! Anyways,,, Maybe I have a False Negative results... Or The test I bought sucks! What is a good one? Can I still have hopes? I really want to be a mommy! God Knows!!! According to my calculations I would be...4 Weeks now!!! So far... I`m not peeing alot.. but latetly my stomach-ache(nausea) Is that maybe a +++? I'm reading everywhere that it is so important to start taking prenatal vitamins at least 3 months before conceiving. I just started the vitamins a couple of days ago and wondering how bad it would be if I was to get pregnant at the end of this month? I only know of a few women who had been taking vitamins for over three months before getting pregnant. Most women aren't even taking vitamins when they get pregnant....so, I'm wondering......

What does everyone think of prenatal vitamins? Why do they say at least three months?

Today is 3 DPO and we have been TTC. My breasts haven't really felt any differently than they normally do but have experienced cramping similar to the AF time. I just don't want to get false results due to my impatients! Thanks for your info :)

I think I may have had a miscarriage(or still in the process)... I'm not 100% sure that I was pregnant. I was 4 days late so I took a test, one came out positive and the other negative. Then, 5 days later(making that a total of 9 days late) I started spotting. The next night I was cramping a little, but it wasn't too bad. It was far less painful than my normal cramping during my cycle. I didn't have lower back pain or leg cramping... and I normally get that so bad it hurts to move. Anyway, It's day 5 of the bleeding and it's pretty light right now. I'm not sure as to what I need to do. I've never been to an OB/GYN before so I guess I need to find one to go to? I'm 20 and just recently got married(we waited to have sex) and I was told I didn't need to come in b/c I wasn't sexually active. So that's why I have never been. I feel fine... no other symptoms... what should I do?

I am 2 days late. No signs of period. I am cramping in my lower back. I never get cramps until after I start my period so that is unusual. My LMP started February 24. I have taken HPTS, all of which said negative. Should I trust the negative result? Should I retest again? When can I be confident in the HPT results?

I plan on going to the doctor next week if I haven't started yet. Please don't tell me "Stress" is causing me to be late. In 10 years, I have never been late and I have been plenty stressed!

my periods was on mar 14 and cycle is 26 to 29. i started to test 9th day and test carefully as they mentioned. first day i got very faint line and little darker each day after that. on the 13th i got positive result. the day before i got positive it was litle darker but lighter then positive one. according to pamplet igot positive only for day. today is my 14th day and i got negative(line is light). my question is, is it possible to get LH surge only for one day? When did i ovulate?i used target brand if is make any difference.

I am considerably overweight and have been my entire life. I have always had a stomach and NO MATTER WHAT I DO it doesnt go away. I went to the doctors because I noticed i have gained about 85 LBS ove the pass year bringing my total to 345 lbs. I've been feeling lke crap lately...for awhile i guess. but nothing out of the ordinary except for i go to the doctors and I have 2 months to prepare for a baby boy....that i didnt know i was having.
