Yes, intense exercise like running, spinning, or weight lifting can decrease the chance of success on an IVFcycle. Most REs will tell you to cut back or switch to lower intensity exercise while doing IVF to increase your chance of success.
I have a friend who is a marathon runner who cut back before her IVF. It was successful, and she has still stayed in great shape by doing prenatal yoga, walking, and ligth resistance training with an exercise band.
I have included a link to an article that talks about the impact intense exercise can have on a cycle.
As far as nutrition, other than eliminating caffeine and alcohol and taking prenatal vitamins, I have never seen any particular foods that seem to help or hurt a cycle.
Best of luck to you on your IVF!

I am starting IVF treatments as well and have been told NO to any hard workouts...here is why. Your ovaries are like fruit on the branches of a tree(tree being your falopian tubes/fibers that hold your ovaries in your cavity). When you stimulate, you are producing many follicles so those ovaries are going to sag like a tree branch with heavy fruit on them. If you were to excersize, those "branches" have a very good chance of becoming twisted, or wrapped around eachother. That would require surgery to fix.
I have been told that you can walk and do low impact workouts, but heavy cycling is a bad idea.

IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of Healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got her IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI surgery done there and she is more than very happy with the results. She is all praise for Fly2india4health Consultants. She paid just 20% of the cost what she was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps

There is no reason why you can't continue your workouts. Many pregnant women continue to do hard work well into their pregnancies before they even learn that they are indeed pregnant. I would take a prenatal vitamin and eat a healthy diet- fruits and vegetables, whole grain pasta and bread, lean meats and low-fat dairy, and drink plenty of water.

I think u cazn do light exercise, yoga and medittation. Relaxation techniques will help you. Avoid carrying heavy weights and heavy load in general. Good Luck!
