I went off bc the end of December. My periods are very regular, about 25-26 days apart, but my period itself only lasts 24-48 hours. Since going off the bc it has been mostly brown with maybe a tinge of pink the last few hours. TMI I know, sorry. Anyway, is it still possible that I am ovulating? I have checked my mucus and temp and they both indicate ovulation, however I am still not pregers. I have an appointment with my gyno next week, but just looking for some answers before then. Thanks for any info you can give me.

You can ovulate without menstruating at all, and menstruate without ovulating.

If mucous and tem say you are ovulating you are probably ovulating. You might want to use a pee test just to triple check.

However I would like to point out that it is March. The average amount of time to get pregnant is 6 months -meaning 0-12 is normal. And you're on what month three? I wouldn't be worried that it hasn't happened yet.

maximum women ovulate 12-sixteen days earlier their era and interior guy or woman women that not often varies via greater suitable than an afternoon. for women with shorter cycles, this implies they often ovulate fairly quickly after their era ends. Your cycles are on the longer area and that is possibly which you ovulate approximately day sixteen to day 20. The first answerer's information is correct. Also, I don't think the length of the period has anything to do with whether you ovulate or not.

Your period happens after you ovulate and the egg is not fertilized.
Your uterus prepares for pregnancy by building up a lining for the fertilized egg to imbed in. If this does not happen, the lining is "thrown out" in the form of your period.

Good luck!!
